Hello everyone! Have you heard? Our online auction

Hello everyone! Have you heard? Our online auction (on our Facebook page, search for The Raptors) begins in less than three days! In light of Vulture Awareness weekend, it will launch Saturday September 5th at 10am PT, and will close Monday September 7th at 9pm PT. We have dozens of fantastic items up for grabs from generous local donors this year. Including a Barn Owl ring made by Elina Gleizer Atelier, a few gift certificates to Station Street Tattoos, a beauty bundle from Botanical Bliss, and beautiful art prints by Hello Yellow Canary. All proceeds raised by this auction will be donated to The Raptor Rescue Society, who rescues and rehabilitates wild raptors.

A little over 1 week until our online auction laun

A little over 1 week until our online auction launches! This will be hosted in light of Vulture Awareness weekend, from September 5th-7th. So keep your eyes peeled for awesome vulture content this week on our Facebook page!
All proceeds for the auction will be donated to the The Raptor Rescue Society, our non-profit partner organization that rescues, rehabilitates and releases injured, orphaned raptors. This year we have fantastic local donors and some amazing items up for grabs. From the top, left to right: Sunflower mosaic by Veronica Scott, (Jury the Turkey Vulture, not for sale), Sea glass earrings by Susan Koch, needle felted Barn Owl by Nan.c designs, and a men's (and women's) eagle pine t-shirt by Westcoasttees. This is just a sample of the amazing items we will have for auction!

Mark your calendars, September 5th is Vulture Awar

Mark your calendars, September 5th is Vulture Awareness Day! Normally we would hold a fun little event at our centre with a bbq, Vulture activities, and a silent auction, but because of Covid-19 we are unable to do that this year. We are still going to run an auction through our Facebook page though! We already have some amazing items up for grabs such as this enamelled sheet steel vase by Margot Page and this stained glass box by Donnie Doherty, both being modelled by the lovely Phoenix, a Turkey Vulture.

This auction is hosted by The Raptors, with proceeds going towards our sister organization, The Raptor Rescue Society.
